Explanation of Different Garment Type Options

• Flats – Standard: Job will run quickly by keeping Color changes and trims to a minimum. Job will not be sewn center out.
• Caps: Will sew center out and complete object fully before moving from the center to the outside. There will more color changes and it won’t run as fast as a normal flat job but it will hold registration on a cap frame and won’t create pinches in the cap. We will keep the size below 2.5 inches tall. With more and more machine allowing 270 degree embroidery we don’t have a max width.
• Flats for Registration - Runs Slower: We will start in the center and fully complete objects working our way out to the outside of the design. There will be more color changes and the job won’t run as fast but it will look better on tricky fabrics, especially ones that are stretchy. If you want to combine your flat and cap file into 1 file then this is your best option. For best results and fastest running of the jobs please place two separate orders, one for flats and one for caps. This way each file can be made from scratch and optimized specifically for your needs.
